The 4th of July is my second favorite holiday- although it comes in very close behind Christmas at number one. That being said, it has always been a dream of mine to be in Washington DC for the 4th of July. Now that we lived on the east coast, this dream was finally going to come true! I was so excited! So we left for the weekend. Drove up and had ourselves a very wonderful holiday. Although, it rained all the 4th of July so our fireworks were pretty much a bright colorful foggy-ness.
I told TJ that this only partially counted as my 4th of July in Washington DC. We will be back!
Here's a little video of the trip. Enjoy!
