Blessing Day for Miss Olivia Kirton

On August 26th 2018, Olivia was blessed in our church. In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, when a baby is born, the father who holds the priesthood is able to give their child a blessing. It was so sweet watching TJ take this little child of his and pray over her. It was a special day and so wonderful to have so much family there.

TJ's mom made Olivia this beautiful white dress.

He blessed her with so many sweet things: that she would love those around her and uplift people that come into her life. That she would be a peacemaker and have the gift of the spirit. I love that Olivia and I have TJ in our life.

My Guy, Her Dad

"A good father is one of the most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society." - Billy Graham

Olivia, I want to know a few things about your dad.

First and foremost, he's the love of my life. He is my best friend, my forever buddy, and my everything.
He can and will do just about anything and everything for the both of us.

Second, he loves you so much! From the day you were born, he has been your advocate and your protector. And I think you already know that.

When you were born you gave us a little scare so they had to take you to the NICU for a bit. Your daddy went with you and I hope that you always remember that from the very beginning he was always there for you. Watching over you and concerned for your well being.

Remember you can always go to him for anything. He will listen and love you know matter what.

Everything about you fascinates him. Every look you give him, every smile and every shriek makes him fall in love with you even more.

Olivia, watching your dad become a father has been so special for me to see. I knew from the very beginning he would be extraordinary and he has been. When you were born I saw this new side of TJ that came out and I loved it. He became a dad.

Your dad is one of the most kind-hearted, giving, service-oriented person there is. He makes me wanna be better every day. I can't wait to see the two of you over the years play, laugh and love each other. If you become a big daddy's girl, I will have no objection to that. It will make two of us.

Olivia I hope you know how much your dad loves you and if you could only see now and forever the way he looks at you. You are his child and he will always love you and protect you and be there for you!

New Plymouth, ID

August was our month of travel! First we went to Pinedale, WY and then we went up to New Plymouth, ID to meet Great Grandma and Grandpa Garner and cousin Luke! It was a quick three day trip but was so wonderful. I love when we can escape to the farm, eat good farm fresh food and enjoy each other. And I loved having my family love on Olivia.

It's always so fun to be at the farm and to have pretty much the whole family there. Avery had just flown in from Jerusalem and drove up with Olivia and I so TJ could stay home and work. My parents, Ethan and Nicole drove up from California. Alyssa and Luke were in Idaho from Japan visiting her parents and Riley drove down from Portland where he fly in for a work thing. So we pretty much had the whole family there! It was amazing!

It's going to be so fun watching our family continue to grow and as more kids join our family! I love watching my parents be grandparents. So glad Riley, Luke and Alyssa could all be there!

Bowling in Emmett, ID. One of the smallest bowling alleys I've ever been to. Fun for the Hawaii school kids to all bowl together again!
