So truth is that I started this blog with every intention of documenting moments, day to day life and my thoughts. However, I guess I wasn't too committed to it as I thought. Life got busy- other projects came up and it got away with me. But I have caught up. Lot's of posts at one time and this post just for putting pictures of life up for posterity sake.

Luckily the new year is around the corner, which means all of the goals I had this year will once again be made and started.

The fall brought many weddings. We loved celebrating with family and friends

My friend Kelley from 3rd grade got married. It was so fun to go back and see a lot of my high school friends that I hadn't seen in a long time and met their significant others.

THANKSGIVING & Other Fall Festivities

Thanksgiving morning, TJ made me this breakfast while I watched the Macy's Day Parade

A few days before Thanksgiving, the Kirtons did a  Turkey Shoot as well as a pheasant hunt. It was a new experience to say the least
Me and Kora staying warm

Our annual canyon 4-wheeling ride. I love Utah seasons and the color changing.

The day half my heart left

On October 5th my sister left on her 18 month LDS mission to Spokane Washington. It's such a bittersweet thing. A mission is the best thing ever and opens your eyes to so many wonderful things but at the same time it means I don't talk to her for 18 months. And when you call your sister ever day- it's a sacrifice. But I know that she is in the right place and doing the right thing so I can't complain. It's always so fun getting her emails ever week and hearing how she's doing! A few pictures from when she came to Utah to go through the Provo City Center Temple and then the day she left.

Taking Nicole to the MTC was such a neat experience but at the same time, I was having flash backs to when I went into the MTC. Weird to relive it.

I'll see you May 2018!

One Year

On September 19, 2015, TJ and I did the best thing ever: We got married.
It's been a year since then and it has been oh so the greatest! He is the best thing that has happened to me. It's been a year of laughs, adventures, cries and everything in between.

We FINALLY got to eat the top of our cake! It was sooo good- even after a year!

And TJ finally got to smash cake in my face...haha

The Lake

Every year in August, the Kirton clan goes up to Pinedale, WY. They have been going ever since TJ's dad was a kid. It the biggest tradition they have. I must say, the first year I went, the thought of camping for 7-10 days was crazy and the first time was a bit long- the longest I had ever been camping was 5 days so 10 days was double what I was used to! But I come to love it and every year, the time goes by faster. I make sure I have a great book and lots of sunscreen.
A few images from the week:

One of my favorite things to do is go fishing! That's the majority of what we do in Pinedale.

Our fearless captain!

One time, our boat broke down. Luckily, some cousins were still out boating and were able to tow us back into shore.

He's GOT one!

This is what I do sometimes while I'm waiting for a fish...

And this... The fish finder. This contraption tells us how deep the water is and then when a fish swims by, it pops up on the screen. We always hope for a big fish to pop up!

Nothing beats sunsets on the lake

My favorite view

Then we hit the water in the morning during feeding time

Spike Ball- the game of the week. Tournaments upon tournaments

We leave the week tired, sunburned and refreshed. Til next year Pinedale!
